Having completed their 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training, Harry is now a consultant to the staff and students of the Chi Yoga School in Glasgow, presenting workshops on advanced anatomy, postural assessment, biomechanics and injury risk reduction.

 

 

 

Chek Institute, Encinitas, California

 

Harry is studying with, and applies, the coaching principles of the Chek Institute, a niche education institute that specialises in producing exercise coaches and kinesiologists of the highest order.  This means that you can expect a thorough postural examination and a firm focus on resolving postural and biomechanical issues before loading your body with exercise.

 

Whatever your sport or other physical demands, proper biomechanical functioning is essential to making sure you stay injury-free in the long term, so that you can build your health continually.

 

 

 

London School of Sports Massage

 

Harry's extensive training and experience in sports massage have led him to work with the medical team and athletes of the Scottish Institute of Sport, applying his hands to the remedy of postural problems and injuries.

 

Sports massage is a fantastic way to maintain and monitor the condition of your muscles, and thus avoid the development of injury, not just to fix things once once they're broken.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Harry's future.

 

I work hard to be able to bring the best knowledge and practice to my clients, and I'm constantly studying further in accordance with the Continuous Professional Development criteria of each of the registering bodies I'm affiliated to in my industry.

 

 

This year I'll complete further stages of the Chek certification program, focussing on spinal health and scientific nutrition, while developing my own understanding of how yoga can be applied to optimise wellbeing.
